Josua Madsen (Artillery) am 08.03.2023 bei einem Verkehrsunfall getötet

Bereits am 8. März 2023 starb der Schlagzeuger Josua Madsen bei einem Verkehrsunfall im Alter von nur 45 Jahren.
Den Meldungen zufolge befand sich Josua Lander Madsen auf dem Heimweg von einer Probe mit seiner neuen Band. Er war zu Fuß unterwegs und wurde zwischen Roskilde und Kopenhagen von einem Bus erwischt.

Josua Madsen war von 2012 bis 2023 Drummer bei den dänischen Thrashern Artillery. Die Band schreibt, dass sie mit einem neuen Schlagzeuger unterwegs sind und die geplanten Konzerte stattfinden werden.
»We are deeply saddened by the passing of our former drummer Josua, but as we are on the road with a new drummer we will fulfill all our contracts and concerts In Josuas spirit«

Sie widmen den Song "The Last Journey", der 2020 erschien und ursprünglich im Andenken an den 2019 verstorbenen Gitarristen Morten Stützer geschrieben wurde nun auch  Josua:
